Joe
Founder and CEO
Joe Barbagallo, founder of BarBHouse Productions, began his career in the vibrant New York independent film community with the award-winning drama JUST ONE MORE KISS (2019). The film earned Best Feature at the Big Apple Film Festival and established Joe as a champion of distinctive voices and emerging talent.
Combining strong business acumen with a sharp creative instinct, Joe has since produced a slate of acclaimed genre films. In 2021 Joe produced the award winning New York-set fantasy drama ON OUR WAY, starring Micheál Richardson, Jordana Brewster, and James Badge Dale, as well as the creature feature CRYPTID (2022)
In 2022, he produced A WOUNDED FAWN, the third feature from celebrated horror director Travis Stevens and starring actor and filmmaker, Josh Ruben. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, garnered multiple nominations at the 2023 Fangoria Chainsaw Awards, and was featured on numerous “Best of Horror” lists.
Building on that success, Joe has continued to carve out a reputation as a dynamic force in genre filmmaking, dedicated to elevating new and unconventional storytellers. His upcoming projects include THE FETUS (2024), Starring Laren LaVera and Bill Moseley; NANNY CAM, a female-driven psychological thriller written and directed by Jenni “JWoww” Farley (currently in post-production); HARM, a high-octane body horror film from director Rob Jabbaz (in pre-production); and UNFORMED, a stylish and tense cosmic horror film from acclaimed genre voice Elric Kane (fully cast and in pre-production).
Nathan
Development
NATHAN FAUDREE is an award-winning writer and director. He moved into writing as a co-writer of the critically acclaimed theatrical production 4PLAY which enjoyed sold out runs in NYC, Chicago and LA. Several of his short films have been produced, including KILLGRAVE, ISOLATION, DANIME, THE CITIZEN and OMEGA UNIT.
He also wrote and hosted over 26 episodes of the weekly cult-hit comics education web series MEANWHILE.
Faudree is the co-writer of A WOUNDED FAWN which premiered at TRIBECA 2022 with director Travis Stevens and then on AMC+ SHUDDER. It went on to make many Top Horror Film lists including SlashFilm, AV Club, Paste and certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. It has also been nominated for a FANGORIA Chainsaw award.
His feature, PENITENT is in development with BarBHouse Productions with Director Brad Rego attached.
His feature script UMBRA 9 is in development with Mark Cheng Creative Studios and The Shepherds. He also wrote the pilot THE PONTIANAK for JBF Entertainment’s anthology series MYTH TALES.
His cyberpunk Unreal Animation series CAGeRS created with Larry Hama and Mark Cheng is in pre production with Mark Cheng Creative Studios with Leonard Wu producing. They are also collaborating on JADE FACE WU and an animated pilot EXTRACTED.
He is writing with Haz Dulull at Beyond the Pixels developing their latest video game ASTROBURN.
Faudree’s first feature as both writer and director, SITE 13, premiered at the New York City Horror Film Festival. It won BEST HORROR FILM at the Montreal Independent Film Festival, the London New Wave Festival and the Italian 8 ½ Festival as well as BEST AMERICAN DIRECTOR and BEST FIRST TIME DIRECTOR at the Kansas Arthouse Festival. SITE 13 is distributed by TERROR FILMS.
ANDY
operations
Andy Erickson wears multiple hats at BarBHouse Productions, serving as our Operations Manager while also playing a key role on the development team. A graduate of St. Cloud State University in Minnesota with a degree in film, Andy started in the industry as an intern at LA-based TV production company, Content Superba, before joining BarBHouse.
Although he has always had a passion for cinema, his journey to film is anything but traditional—and that’s exactly what makes his perspective so valuable. Before stepping into the world of storytelling, Andy served in the U.S. Air Force, competed semi-professionally in esports, hosted a sports podcast, and even stepped into the ring as a professional wrestler. His rich and varied background fuels his mission to champion bold, personal, and meaningful stories from emerging filmmakers.
Andy brings a unique mix of discipline, creativity, and curiosity to every project, helping shape BarBHouse’s distinct voice in the world of film.
