Director: The Unformed is co-written and directed by Brooklyn-based filmmaker Elric Kane. Originally from New Zealand, Elric has worked as a writer, director, and producer across over a dozen short films. His feature film debut The Dead Thing recently premiered to a rapturous reception at the Fantasia International Film Festival. Outside of filmmaking, Elric currently co-hosts the popular Pure Cinema Podcast. Previously, he hosted the Shock Waves horror podcast, distributed by Blumhouse and Fangoria. He received his MFA in film from Savannah College of Art and Design.
